Nicolle's Portfolio

BIOGRAPHY Her name is Griselda Nicolle Huezo Castro. She was born on June 14, 2001, in Santa Ana, El Salvador. Nicolle studied at the Las Mercedes school, and during all her basic and intermediate studies, she obtained very good grades that every year she was on the honor roll of the school. She is currently studying in her second year of a degree in English Language: Teaching Option. Nicolle currently has a scholarship at the University of El Salvador, and she is studying the levels of English that this university offers; during the last holidays, she received an English composition course. Nicolle is a person who loves to read and listen to music of all kinds of genres and in her free time. She likes to paint with acrylic paints and draw with a pencil. Moreover, she likes to spend time with her family, friends, and people she loves; Nicolle loves animals and is against animal abuse. Every time she looks at a puppy and has the opportunity to give him food, water, or love, she does it.

 PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE I would like to be a kindergarten teacher. I would like to work at the University of El Salvador either part-time or full time. I would like to work in an academy. I would like to work in a call center. I would like to work at the airport.

  EVIDENCE OF COMPETENCIES At the beginning of the semester, I already had knowledge about English composition since I had taken a course on it during the holidays. At the beginning of the course, we were assigned to upload a weekly journal. This meant that each week we had to write a paragraph of between 15 to 25 lines talking about a certain topic; sometimes, these topics were free. Many times, I felt frustrated since the ideas did not reach me; sometimes, I felt frustrated because I had too many ideas that I did not know how to organize so that they made sense together, so I turned to a friend to help me with that. Sometimes, I asked for help from the teacher who gave me the course on vacation. Furthermore, many times I was looking for some words that I did not know how to say in English, so I acquired a lot of new vocabulary when doing these journals. Besides that, I use many online applications like Grammarly and google docs; actually, I have a course about google docs. In that co
